Since planeden only needs one Sock I put forth the following: If fifteen lovers of the sharp blade will sign on and each donate $15USD for a Strop Sock I will happily make and mail each one. Please note that that price is undervaluing said item. It has to be 15 members wanting only one sock each. This offer expires midnight of Movember 30, 2020 Oregon time.

Well, cudarunner and joelkerr jumped for two each, so the door is open for at least three more gents to get two each at a fabulous price! My sewing machine is all warmed up and making ripcho's strop socks from the first flight. I have a decent fabric collection and you each will have the choice of six fabrics, except for cudarunner, he just wrote to tell me he's sending me a specific fabric. He will have to take pics when he gets them and show them off.

All right, enough of the friendly bickering. Let it run its course. Whatever number we end up with will still guarantee you all the socks you have claimed. Everyone, the other flights included, has given me enough enjoyment over the next few weeks that it will counter the self-imposed torture coming up of getting one son's books ready for his tax accountant since I am his bookkeeper.

Other than being confused as to who has how many socks coming to them I'd say, tcrideshd, you've got them. I do believe that the three equals one loom strop as it takes more fabric and a different construction method and yours will be the first. No bill from me. see the donations links by country and contribute directly to the Movember movement through it. I do have some thoughts on constructing a loom strop sock, a new adventure for me to stretch my mind.

Are we all agreed that now is the time for all good men to close this thread and let's get on with the looming madness of getting these full-length socks in progress for completion before the new year engulfs us?
Please do me a favor. PM me with your email address, the number of socks you are getting plus your true name and address. I will send you each a selection of fabrics to choose from. At that time give me the measurements of your strops of the length minus the hanging hardware and including the bottom of the handle if it has one. Roy is taken care of and tc needs to give me a pic or several of the loom strop in question so I can get my thinking cap (if I can find it) on and cogitate to completion of a new avenue, be: loom strop strop socks.
