I actually have the Veho VMS-004.
Maybe I'll give it another chance, but so far. I am not all that happy.
was asking about a 'scope and was going to tell him the size of the marks we are looking at. I guessed 10 micron?

Taking the pic with the dimensions, I am guessing 4 inches. As I am exchanging emails with a rep, I will ask.
You will have to consider the geometry of how those LEDs will light a razor.
When I look at a razor, I always tilt it up at an angle, so that I am looking at the actual cutting edge, not just the side of the bevel. See the Zowada website for a picture of his setup to do this.

If the illumination is way down low, like shown in that pic, you will not be able to tilt your razor up and get proper illumination.
Just my two cents...
W as hoping that having illumination situated low might permit me a good look at the edge without tilting the razor.

That should permit me some flexibility about how I place the razor.
