    Default Too much $ ?

I've been eyeing this off for a while and bargained him down to $95.00.

Says 6/8" but looks a bit bigger and I just love the look of it !!

Why can't the little "sensible man" on my shoulder tell me to cool my jets ?

Opinions please !! ....What would you do if you saw a blade you just had to have ?

Vendors pics until I get it in my hot little hands.
Gosh !!.... baked beans for the next two weeks

If that is what it was worth to you to have it... then you are good my friend!

You really think someone here is going to say you don't need any more razors...LOL

See that black rust on the edge on both sides - you do not want this razor.
There are plenty just like it in far better condition - wait for one of them.

Black rust on the edge almost always means pitting to be revealed when it is removed. If that pitting is deep, then no matter how much honing is done, the edge will be compromised. I've been there, and it's no fun.

A little perspective, since that is what it seems you are asking for....
I stepped away from the hobby of collecting for about 2 years, almost 3.
I am amazed that after that time the 'same' razors are still for sale and available.
This will not be the only one of these that come up. I'd say wait for a nicer one, or a less expensive of the same condition.

I'm not sure I'd go for that one. It has some limited potential that is a long road away. There are better finds.
