You ain't just a whistlin' Dixie!! The best made here in the USA.
Cut my teeth on one in the 50's.

I will hold out for a metal one...
I think it would hold up better.
It is a good one, wish I was still up that way so I could jump at it.
I still have some older Rockwell and Delta tools that were my Granddads'.
That machine will go cheap because of pick up only,is truly a wonderfull lathe.
Yeah just got off the phone with my Dad, we are watching it, if it goes for the right price (I hate reserves)
he will have my brother pick it up and it will ride down in the spring with Mom and Dad for their visit ;)
Yes I'm also counting on Bill to find my metal lathe for me and shoot me a message on when/where to pick it up :)
That's a nice one. My Rockwell 21-100 mill serves me well.
That looks expensive to me. Somebody gave it some love. I hope you get it cheap Pfries.
This is about the only delta I could afford right now.

My wife and I moved mine (same exact lathe) Take off the tailstock and the tool holder, disco the the drive belt, remove 6 bolts, you have maybe 100 lbs, load in truck, the base and moter,200 max,you can take it all apart if need be,Is a great machine.Mine runs all day, every day,you can totally re-build the headstock for 50 bux if need be.
