Thanked: 24JUst thought I'd aware you guys on something (ebay).
I was browsing through trying to find a nice storage box, and I found this 6-day box that comes included with razors.
Vintage Sheffield Straight Razor Case 6 Days of Week English German Razors | eBay
I like the look of the box, and of the tortoise shell razor, but I'm not prepared to pay $100 for it. I wouldn't be able to restore the razors, and it's most likely faux shell anyway.
Seeing as how many of you are very skilled at restoring razors, I figured that I'd share this, since 6 razors and a good box for $100 seems quite reasonable.
They look very old, so I would assume that they are antique razors which have lost their edge, rather than cheap knock-offs from china or pakistan.
Mods - let me know if this goes against any forum rules, in case it seems as if I'm trying to advertise my own products or something.

Thanked: 4I see some frowns, chip big enough that it might have to be breadknifed, and I can't tell whether the guy that owned these was heavy towards the toe when he was honing but at least in some shots it seems like they taper.
If one was up for a challenge though these might be pretty decent razors after a restore since rust seems minimal on most and I don't see any signs of cell rot. Of course I'm a noob and pictures do lie when it comes to razors.

Thanked: 7I don't think that razor is tortoise shell either. It looks to be dyed horn.

Some of those blades are nice (not all), I'd say $100.00 is just the beginning of a bidding war for those
who have a lot more money than I'd be prepared to part withhttp://straightrazorplace.com/workshop/18504-welcome-workshop-how-do-i-where-do-i-what-do-i-answers-here.html

I looked at that one and then realized it was just a pile of blades in a box - kinda thought it was a "set" judging by the picture. I guess if you priced 6 blades then $100 is a deal. But maybe not since there are only 2 of them I'd bid on. All in the eye of the buyer.
