Hey everyone, here are a few recent acquisitions that I've put up on the bay.

Pretty new to listing on the bay, so I would appreciate your feedback on my listings. Ya'll are great!
I liked 'em when you posted 'em on SRP not so long ago, and I like 'em now, too. I'm not entirely comfortable with your use of "matched" -- they're not the same size, and the difference between 4/8" and 13/16" is both sizable and not caused by the vagaries of use and hone-wear. I realize that everything else is "matching", so take my discomfort with a ration of salt. I like the scales, and imagine they were both rescaled somewhere along the line; do you know by whom? Regardless, the scales are beautiful, and if you know from what they're made, I'd give it a mention.Quote:

I see what you mean about the matched set but they are intentionally different sizes, and neither show any hone wear. The scales are I believe original, but I'm not sure on material, I'll look into it. They literally look like they just came from the manufacturer.

I've been trying to find out more info on the "FOREMOST" mark of Robert Klaas to see if they are in fact original, but I'm not having much luck. I'll do more checking/research when I get home from school tonight.Quote:

The 4/8 blade is #445 on the inside of both scales, and the 13/16 is 35? something, I can't make it out clearly at all on either scale. But I'm pretty convinced they are original. Also, they appear to be natural, definitely wood based on the pattern and end-grain.
