Oh yes, I heard about the guy. :) (sadly he don't even shaves with straight razors... :( )
It's not him ;)
Either God is going through his his hobo period or there is an interesting blend of the sacred and secular there. (More likely the latter)
Truly a beautiful razor. :)
I absolutely love this razor!
The best bit for me is the reversed JA Henkels carving on the reverse scale, so when mounted in a case with a rear mirror the text is readable in the reflection!
Those last photos leave no doubt in my mind that the razor is a tour de force of what Henckels was capable of at that time. It manages to be both stupendous and exquisite at the same time.

I good investment perhaps... albeit a limited audience of capable buyers
I'll take the bet for this one.
If I ever receive it, I'll take thousands of pictures so you'll be able to see every details of it.
Not that I've ever had anything that elaborate and rare, but I've had some pretty interesting stuff and still put my trousers on one leg at time when I got up in the morning. I guess what I'm saying is if I can't use it, I don't see much point in having it. If I'm just going to be a custodian for it until I 'shuffle off this mortal coil' I'd just as soon admire it from afar.
