He is bringing attention to his ebay name. I went to his feedback and looked at his completed listings. A lot of razors come and gone. An innovative idea to promote his future listings.
I also checked his Feedback. No negative or neutral Feedbacks, all comments were very positive. I'll be looking for future listings and if he has something I'm looking for will definitely buy from him....if the price is right.
Performance art.
I've had dealing with him as well. He's a straight up guy. Does what he says.
Hangs out over at B&B.
Good people as far as I'm concerned.
Lol
I think he is just promote his news letter & if you visit his store he has 4 very nice blades up at the moment
Gotta love the attention getter but
Sellers sometimes do things like this to save a time slot for an upcoming listing. Then, they edit the listing and put on the real item. Not sure how that works, tho?
I ought to message him and ask if he can do a custom drawing of a razor for me ......... tell him I want a drawing of a Reaper or an FBU ....... :rofl2:
it was actually for an intended buyer, private salel. easy way to get shipping info from paypal and deal direct with buyer after the fact so he can save the 10% eBay fees. hes one of my saved sellers, love his razors.
HA! That's brilliant! I had a friend once who used to put on fairly empty listings to save time slots. I jokingly bid on one. He went ballistic! :rofl2:
yeah, if you check he had listed it and someone must have bought it! I believe he relisted saying not to buy it unless you are "that guy" it is intended for. the right guy mustve bought it second time around, only saw him list it twice :D
I've seen guys do what sharptonn said and ive seen several like this, seller puts up a not too interesting listing (has to have at least one pic) usually with a description of "for so-and-so" with either a low bin or the actual price. with the low price its presumably to get the shipping and contact info easily and then deal direct (not best practice as per using eBay message system) to save on fees and potentially offer buyer a better deal. the problem with this one is that its so funny id have bought it too based on my first laugh producing glimpse at it. a good sense of humor is a must these days..... ill be selling them later this week to anyone interested :rofl2:
well sharptonn- did he send you anything good??????? :D
