That's that guy that lives down by the river that does that. He wet hones on this round stone IN the river. And the best part is,,,,he only charges 15 bucks.
Looks like iy was made for a chubby person? With like big cheeks :)
Sad razor!
That's a barber's curve, for trick-barbering.
The way it was done is this: the barber would put the blade up to the neck of his client, then slowly turn the chair around until they're facing the mirror, with the blade against the neck, the barber would then say something like "I seem to have gotten a little too close" (because the curve makes it look like the blade is sunk into the skin.
Then he'd laugh and hold up the razor. Sometimes he hired gnomes to do this. It was never very popular, unless the gnomes were involved.
These were finally banned by international law in the 1940's due to an incident that it's still illegal to discuss.
Halloween razor lol
It seems to have a bevel on it so it either fits a hone or the guy used a butcher's steel on it. I'm wondering if it was done for a special purpose. I don't think I want to know what that might be, but the little voice in my head is saying Tuckmar's Limited Edition Ball Sack Special.
Holy Crap...thought it was a picture of my Mother-in-Law for a second there....:(
