That’s not rust, that’s ‘patina’. What’s the difference?

‘Rust’ if you’re buying, ‘patina’ if you’re selling, lol.

Looks like it has a pretty good bite out of the blade as well.

There is a lot of metal in that razor, so it might be salvageable.

Yeah, if the price is right, I would be tempted to try to bring that one back to life!

I was tempted as well and had another look at the toe end of the razor, midway you see a line of rust running parallel to the back, on a different picture it looked like a crack; I cannot show that picture anymore as someone bought it.

Maybe we will see it soon on a "what are you working on now?" thread! (not saying I bought it... Just sayin'!)

Ha, ha I saw that one & almost posted it. Like MrZ said...........if someone really needed some original scales. The 102 has slightly larger scales than the 101 5/8" blade.

I do believe there is red hot cell rot going on inside this razor box causing the rest to get the cancer!

A good reminder if anyone has a razor box not to put celluloid scaled razors near others but instead keep 'em in coffins or something else away from others.
