ouch.. sorry for your loss. hope you didnt spend too much on them. the bay is never safe!
Bill I know it is a longshot, but I was thinking ........ you say he/she is a well known seller, heretofore thought to be trustworthy. I suspect few know these materials as well as you do, yet until you cut into the horn you were fooled, thinking they were solid, as advertised. Isn't it possible that the seller was also fooled, and that if you contact them with the evidence/photos, they might refund your $ ?
In that case I'd for sure give him a heads up, even if I wasn't looking to return for a refund. IMHO.
i've worked with people who sell items online aka ebay as a business. sometimes they are just not honest people at all, just trying to make a quick buck and cheat people.
ebay sellers sometimes get scammed as well, raw material sources are a stone cold bear at times to verify .salute.
Sure they are, 100% solid resin & infill materials,
just not 100% solid Buffalo horn
damn shame
makes you wonder how many others have been jipped with these items also?
Not knowing, but is a horn solid? I thought the middle had some sort of other matter and the horn grew around it? Never had one so I have no ideeer.
