Asleep at the Wheel

After snagging my birthday present I seem to have lost all ability to buy anything I want.

I actually had my clock set for this one, as I wanted to drive to town and use my snipe program on my phone (been having internet problems at home)

I woke up, and it was over. I hope to the razor gods that it was one of you guys that snagged it and not just turned into a clean it up and resell at a profit item.

Tell me one of YOU guys will be shaving with this next week....

I've missed them like that too. The thing to do is get with ebay's automatic snipe program. I never have 'cause I like the adrenaline rush of doing the snipe up close and personal. No worries though, they made more than one. ;)

Ebay has a snipe program of its own?

If you are referring to its automatic bidding feature, what I have found repeatedly, is people who sit and "pick" at your bid until they find your maximum. I have had way better success not bidding at all until the last moment. ANd yea, sitting there with my finger hovering above the bid button is way more fun! =P

Not sure, thought they did ...... if they don't there are others apps that do. I am a 3 to 4 seconds before the end bidder. Worth the rush win or lose, and I'm usually happier if I lose.

I do have a snipe app, but it only works if you have internet. Mine has been cutting out the last few days due to the crappy weather. hence why I was going to drive to town to make sure I had connectivity.

I think I should give up on the wide DD search, and just practice my grinding skills more so I can make my own. I just need to know how thick the blades on the big ducks are and without a specimen in hand to mic up... Unless you got one handy Jimmy? (I bet you do!) :p

You lose ...... ;) Never had a 7/8 duck in my long life. I've got a 6/8 special that reads 1.077 at the spine, if I'm reading it right ..... :p

I too had that in my watch list but slept in this morning. Just as well, if I get too many parcels my wife starts to get that look.

I don't have a wife to give me a look. But my cat certainly gave me the furry eyeball. You could see how disgusted she was with my failure to get up on time.

Tho she was more concerned with my failure to open a can over my failure to spend money on another razor (money that could better be directed toward higher quality cat food don't cha know)

I've had some computer problems over the last week and as a result some Sheffields have slipped
through my greasy grasp as well !!....I feel your pain, but you WILL get what you want in time :gl:

It might have had a small frown, and it had some "age spots" that would require some Porcelana to get rid of, but I figured that would make it affordable. Mint is out of my price range. Usually, when these show up, they are mint, or ruined. This was a good compromise.
