Howard, I wouldn't know how to do it on a mobile device. On my PC sometimes I have to hold the 'control' button down, right click, save image as. Sometimes just right click and save image. Dunno why it varies but usually that works on a tower pc.

There's been a pair of those going trough ebay for less money and I think they're on the third relisting now.
IIRC there was a set of two on ebay years ago. One had damaged scales, the other did not. I believe the final value amounted to less than $500 for the pair, but it was a long time ago and I'm not sure. Had it been some extravagant amount I probably would remember that.
Usually I can just touch and hold and it brings up a window to "save image" or "copy". I usually do it on the opened image to get a better pic. I guess somehow on eBay you can set the images to not do that. The below images are from thumbnails and I could have done that on the other, but didn't think of it at the time :(
These may be them. The one blade isn't much. Chips and shorter.

Yup!
Of course, the vast majority of that price is for the scales anyway. MK 31's are a findable thing and the one blade could easily be replaced...
Not that I'd be chasing that, at that price.
I recall someone here on the forum got one of those for very little money because it went up on ebay with pictures where you couldn't even see the decoration on the scales.
May be these are aftermarket customizations from the same outfit.
They remind me of the intricate metal scales with cutout patterns a member, John Cole, used to do few years ago

From about 1908.
Looks like they were originally sold pretty much purely for the scales. Relatively expensive for the time, too. But not crazy expensive either.
You mean the 'handles' :p
