The scales look to be in nice shape.
I wonder if the seller realizes what he is doing is like trying to sell a wrecked car for $1000.

yes but did you notice the "unique shape of the blade"? it's got to be worth at least that much.:) please don't any one else bid on it i want it really bad. i think it would work great in the neck area.
That's a special use razor. It's made to get into recesses and around curves like the chin. You have to be an expert to hone it correctly. Not for the common shave.
It will be a laugh to see who buys it!!!
That razor might work in the nether regions... Maybe should have posted it in that thread in the women's forum. :hmmm:
You never know, it might be good for slicing bread
:rofl2:
I seem to recall it in the wall of shame thread. With work it might make a reasonable smiling shorty if you cut back the toe and b round out the heel. I did a picture of it in said thread. I wouldn't pay 1/10th of the asking price though.
I would pay a dollar just to never have that thing show up on the bay again.
That is a scary looking blade...I wonder how the owner even managed to get it into that shape!!!
One hour left and still no bids...
Looks like one of my first bevel setting attempts.....:p
Nobody sees the beauty in anything anymore. I'd give 5$ as the scales look to be salvageable to me an they're worth at least that.
Can some one buy it so there's no more threads about it? I think this is #4
Well, the three I quoted were because the seller is in US, you're in AU and Orville is in CA.
If you feel really generous you can do the opposite of 'splitting the change' abandon all of this colonial money and do it in GBP... Three guineas and a sixpence would probably do it :)
Ya know, I just realized that mine must be worth twice as much for the condition its in. And it works as a steak knife & bread knife as well.
Also crafted of a reputable craftsman.

This is what happens if you don't lap a hone you bought on the bay before using it.
This thing looks like some bad ass made himself a scary looking weapon. c- for the idea, D- for execution. There is no way I would add that to my collection:shrug:
