Ethics.
I was checking E-bay earlier for a W.H. Worley "Clover" brand straight razor and someone had posted a Very Nice Geo. Worstenholm "Pipe" Straight razor as a W.H. Worley! I put in a bid then had second thoughts and messaged him about his mistake. The Geo. was in very good shape and worth at least $50.00 IMHO, The seller had it listed at auction starting at $25.00. I just couldn't let this mistake go by.

I love it when a seller has no idea what they are selling, I've snagged a few real good deals from folks that didn't know.

I have gotten some deals like that too, it is always nice:)
It is so easy to get information on your mainstream razors that there is not really an excuse as a seller to know nothing about the product!

If you find a deal grab it.

7 watching? 1 pet hour? Losers :<0)
The seller may not want to put in the time to figure out what it;s all worth. would rather it go to somebody that will love it than throw it away. I have had sellers give me razors when I asked things like " is that a crack I see".
Ethics falls under selling something they know is broken but don't say so. You ever know but don't hesitate to buy. If the seller realizes they made a mistake at check out believe me they will find a way out.

$60???
Wow!
I just checked and now it is listed for $2500, so that's a pretty good profit margin.

A while back I bought and paid for a str8 razor on eBay. Apparently, the seller learned it was worth more that I paid for it and he refunded my money. A few days later I saw the same razor by that seller for 3 times what I paid for it. The thing that gets me is lately it seems as if eBay favors the seller and thinks its OK for seller to back out of the deal. Now, if the buyer tries that its not OK, they only care if the buyer gets their item or their money back.

Several years ago I won a bid on about a dozen good razors in a lot. A week after I paid for it she told me that someone wanted to buy one of the razors from the lot and wanted to know if she could remove it before mailing me the rest. Of course she wanted to take out the best one of the group and only give me a $20 credit for it. When I told her no thank you, she informed me that she had lost the package on the way to the post office.
The rest of the razors were re-listed that same day, and I had to open a dispute with her just to get my money back.
Not everyone is a decent human being.

eBay can be tedious at best. Yes, it seems they will almost always side with a buyer..seller be damned.
Sadly they are eBay, THE online marketplace.
Word has it Panjo does a decent job of online selling/buying and that they have more "scruples" that most other sites
