Sometimes taking a risk pays off

AND SOMETIMES IT DONT!

I figured I'd give this Morris Red Imp a try. The pics were not very good but it was described as "new, never used". Looks like it has a couple of spots maybe.

I got it a few days ago. Here's how it looked when it arrived.

Requested a refund the same day. Still haven't heard back from the seller yet. I understand that most sellers don't know much about razors but how could this be "new, never used". I like to give people the benefitand of the doubt, but this seller is making that difficult. Oh well. You win some, you lose some.

The risks of bad pictures and questionable sellers. Some do not know any better and other just want you to think they don't know any better as they pull the wool over your eyes. It is hard to tell which is which. I have encountered a few that were in the did not know and they were very easy to deal with. I too have bought quite a few from bad pictures. I have only had one transaction with hiccups that was not quickly and easily involved, and eBay stepped in and dealt with the issue.

I too have had the same problem. I have only had to send back 2 razors to the seller. one eBay had to step in and the other the sell was ok with the refund but not the shipping. shipping was not that bad so we setttled. Now as for sellers not knowing that in a lot of cases is questionable. Anyone can look at the edge and tell if it has been honed a lot espeacilly that blade. wore on the toe and showes it.

This has happened to me a couple of times, so now I ask for better pictures if I am even slightly in doubt.
