    Default Double-Blade Razor on E-Bay

I had never heard of one of these. And here I thought my collection was complete!

Very interesting piece. A 2-day set with a single handle.

There is probably a reason these are rare. If you are at all clumsy or one of the pivot pins is loose - could be a bloody mess.

I have seen a lot of them on the bay. Always wanted one but they are out of my price range. Cool item.

Just had my wtf moment for the day. Interesting but I see no earthly reason for their existence.

Well that's a new one on me. I'm trying to imagine using one. Seems a little cumbersome to me. Must be a challenge to strop.

A good exercise for a pair of common old Rodgers with 1 broken scale?
I have seen lots of the old 2-bladers with the soldier sometimes on them. Said to have been made by French prisoners or something.
Papillon razors? Never anything such as this.

Looks like someone just removed a scale and pinned.
Look how the blades are resting next to the outer of the scales.. And why have two wedges.
    Fake..

    A 2 bladed razor?

    https://youtu.be/6EBsLOJv-yI

Mostly joking, but I do think it would be cumbersome to shave with.

Speaking of unusual ones, there is a razor that's been on Ebay for around a month or so with a roller mechanism attached at the spine.

Looks interesting, but then I thought about actually shaving with it, honing it, etc. Not sure how it would work.

Looking at the pics, it is pinned collarless and looks to have been done long ago.
However, the top and bottom peens are rough. Not even and polished like Rodgers would have done them.
