It's stuck in customs? whose custom's? I 've never heard of something stuck for that period of time in U.S Customs. Even if it had scales made of some proscribed material it wouldn't take that long and if there was some paperwork issue it still wouldn't take that long.

Thanked: 4Hey shavers, good news!
Not about Dimitry, of course, still no response to my request for a refund, and PayPal told me to pound sand.
The good news is that I now have not only one, but two, razors. As noted above, STF was kind enough to send me, free of any charge, an F A Koch Faultless #20. At about the same time he sent that message, I sent a message to bouschie offering to buy his 5/8 Curley Cutlery razor. The Curley arrived the other day and I've been using it since. The Koch is still in the mail, but I look forward to its arrival.
You guys are great, and this is a great website. when I first started looking for a razor, I only found cheap razors with expensive prices. I was very lucky to stumble upon this site.
I meant to post a link to the razor Dimitry offered, but I didn't. He has lots of great razors for sale, but I suspect he might only have pictures of razors and no actual razors.

Thanked: 580From memory he sold quite a few razors over the years. Something must have happened, I doubt a member of 10 + years would rip anyone off.

That's what we're all about here, paying it forward. Thanks to Steve for continuing that trend. I know he wouldn't say so himself but he is a generous guy who has given out of his rotation rather than out of the surplus many of us have. It's this kind of willingness to give that has made this such a great community. Hats of to you Steve.

Yeah he had some gems. Still kicking myself that I missed this one.
I am sorry that this has happened to you Garcia.
I do feel like there were / are some valuable lessons learned from just bringing this situation to light.
Thank you for being unselfish, sharing with the group and being positive about the silver lining.

Thanked: 315Those sound like solid razors. I'm actually looking for a F.A Koch Faultless, so it is funny to see one mentioned. I think Koch also made a "Crystal" razor.
Sorry about what happened, but it is good to hear you will have some razors to shave with.- Joshua
