Its just a shame.
It may be removable - but maybe not.
Such a beautiful piece in pristine condition otherwise.

The linen can be scrubbed to look like new and the scratches can be treated. They don't look so bad in the picture.

The linen is exactly as new on this one. Its supposed to be blue clored.
I have bought a NOS mint Imp and it was just like this one.
Scratches look deep enough that it could affect the integrity of what it was meant to be like after sanding IMO.
Almost any scratches can be removed if you sand enough, doesn't mean it will still be as good.
