I didn't know they were changing their policies......

I'm still reading through it and it all sounds good so far. But I've still not seen anything about more really nice razors at lower prices yet.
Yeah, sounds good. I'm curious to see how much the final value fees go up--those can be killer. You could always lower your listing fees by setting a lower starting price, but there's no getting around the final price.
We'll see...

HERE they are. 8.75% (up from 5.25) on the first $25, up .25% on the next $975, unchanged above that.
That's still not that bad. Say you sell something for $100- it'll only cost you $4.70 or so.
Still pretty high money. I stopped selling my regular wares on eBay due to high fees. A $150 set would now run $2.00 to list and $6.56 final value fee. Once the shipping fees are added, making it a $158.00 sale, Paypal will take $4.74 plus $0.30 for a total selling/transaction fee of $13.30. That is a pretty steep fee to sell something.
For specialty items like razors I head here first, save myself a few $$ and give a mamber the first shot.
For some items though eBay is the best selling source, despite the fees.

Goes into effect in May I believe- the announcement from Cobb has the info.
The feedback system changes are BAD for sellers and essentially open up eBay to scammers with no recourse. Unfortunately, most of us here are used to dealing with sketchy sellers and may not see this from the sellers point of view. I work for a powerseller- this is bad business.
