I checked the mail today and found this razor I won on eBay. It is marked Wilbert Cutlery Chicago on the tang, and Silver King is etched on the blade. I paid a total of 20.51 including shipping, so how did I do ?

I'd say you did very well - I have a Wilbert Pearl with custom wood scales and its a great shaver!! Twenty bucks is a drop in the bucket for a nice blade like that IMHO! :tu
Sweet ! I hadn't heard of the brand, but it looked pretty cool so I thought I would take a chance.
The blade is really much cleaner than it looks in the pic - I need some practice with the camera - and it has very little hone wear.
I honed it a bit on my 4k/8k Norton and finished on a pasted strop, and it passed HHT easily, so I think it may get a shave test tomorrow.
Sometimes I wish my whiskers would grow faster. Sigh...
I know the feeling! I really like the shave I get from mine, hope you like yours as well!

That a French Point on yours Juto? I can't tell if it is, or if the camera angle is screwin' with my eyes.
As much as I'm not a fan of the Frogs, I do like the razor point that is named after their land mass. I'm definitely going to own one like that.
Nice razor though!
Looks like a nice snag for $20 - CONGRATS
I have a similar one that I'm going to be selling soon... I think.
It'll be more than $20 though!! LOL
(probably more like $85 shipped - give or take)
