I know I'm not the only one who has to struggle with the dilemma 'which razor this time', or perhaps you were never sure about the controversy of 'resting the blade between shaves'....

Not quite sure how exactly do you hold it, but once it's in my hands I can probably figure something out. Plus old ivory with pretty patina is always a nice touch :)

Hmmm :hmmm: well I guess if it were in the closed position you could flip one side of the scales 180 degrees or so to expose just one side of the blade and shave with it like that somehow and then next time flip the other side of the scales open and shave with that side.
Now how do you suppose you would hone it as there is that part that is overlapping that if you honed one side at the same time you would be back-honing the other side :confused:
Edit: I guess maybe a thin piece of tape on the one edge may do it on the one side of the razor, though that would probably change the angle at which it lies on the hone, but you could probably get something out of it still.
And how the heck would you strop it?? As you are stropping one the other is slicing your strop to pieces!

No, I take that back. Second look and apparently the "scale" would cover the edge of the other.
But still begs the question why, why, why?

Talk about cutting your nose off to spite your face....it wouldn't be a question of IF I whack an earlobe or a nose, but WHEN will it happen? :gth Think about the learning curve wth that one compared to a normal straight.:eek:
