Thats all you need is an old file.Man!,Im getting out both my files and starting production on my own line of razors right now!:hmmm: Move aside Lynn, here I come.:D
That's all Spazola needs!
I knew a guy who claimed that he made knives from files. He told me that he annealed them by covering them with lime and then ground and heat treated them. Randydance has made a couple of razors from files recently as well as from tool steel. Here is a post and the first pic shows one made from a file.
I in the childhood did knifes from files too.=)
I just purchased a pair of old razors from ebay, a Wade and Butcher and a Grand 20. Anyway, the seller refered to the barbers notch as 'a little chip on the front of the blade edge'
At least I hope thats what he was refering to.
