Google says Auctiva site could be harmful?

I use Firefox as a browser. I went to Auctiva to list some vinyl albums I don't listen to anymore (to free up some money to spend on razor stuff, what else?). A warning came up that I've never seen before from Google saying the Auctiva site is a "reported attack site".

"Attack sites try to install programs that steal private information, use your computer to attack others, or damage your system.

Some attack sites intentionally distribute harmful software, but many are compromised without the knowledge or permission of their owners.".

Has anyone else had this happen when browsing and what do you recommend in this situation?

Here is an article from Computerworld that talks about what's happening to you. Basically, it's a feature of Firefox that reacts off of Google's blacklist.

Google Chrome has recently been identifying ebay UK and Ireland as dangerous sites. Go figure. :td

Very wise. They are dangerous sites & have cost me a fortune over the years. Even more so since i discovered straights! I've been trying to avoid them recently!
