Just noticed that the wonderedge on ebay had shot up to $355. Looks like a nice piece. As I'm somewhat new to this, is that a fair price or just a case of supply and demand?

It is in the eye of the beholder. It is more then it is worth AFAIC but I have one in as good a condition and that I paid $100 for and it is a square point. More desirable to me. YMMV. They are hot right now and have been. If you keep on looking you will probably find one at a better price.
that's high. philotrix is a trusted seller so perhaps the lack of fear of being bamboozled combined with the sought after brand is driving it up, but that's high.
People pay crazy money for restored or shave ready razors. Often to the point of being able to get a tatty one restored & honed for less money!
I don't know, good wonderedges always seem to command pretty high prices. I've seen quite a few in this price range and higher. I don't think a restored razor is the same as unrestored one. To me restoration is just a way to meet the demand and get something relatively close to the real thing. I have quite a few razors that are very easy to mirror shine, but I keep them with the factory finish even though there are few black speckles on them.
