Lot ,8 unsual straight Razors - eBay (item 250410698866 end time Apr-27-09 12:28:24 PDT)
Normally I'm pretty mad about coming in second. This time I'm a little relieved. Don't have to fork over $250 now. :gaah: :D

Lately I love coming in second too. It's happened a bunch lately, and the sad part is, I couldn't even tell you on what? If that's not a sign that I didn't need whatever it was, I don't know what is. I'm always really upset right after, but the next day I'm usually glad and a few days later I don't even remember it, lol.
I guess it's because I still win the stuff I really want, but I have this new thing where I bid with an attitude like: "hey, I would really want this if it were _this_ price" and I'll just enter some bid that I'm sure is less than it'll go for, but hey, if it does, it's a great deal. This somehow makes me feel better about spending money I don't have on stuff I don't need :shrug:
$35/razor for these seems fantastic. Of course if you don't want all 8 you have to deal with reselling the ones you don't want....

I see he is in Hungary. I think I was looking through some of his listings a few months and there was something I wanted - IIRC a razor named "Barber King". Well, something came up and I wasn't able to get back to my computer after I decided to bid and before the auction ended. It didn't sell.
I carried it on my watch list for a month or so hoping he would re-list it. Didn't happen. I guess that means that I thought he was listing some decent stuff back then.
that's kind of a story with no point. That's been happening to me a lot lately.
Even at that price it looks like it was a pretty good deal. Those are nice looking razors.
