I think there is a lot of red there. not reading through it all.
For me it is too much information. Looks like th person is very verbose and trying to be up front but it is over done.
I have problems reading descriptions in all caps and the red font doesn't add any value for me.
Due to the condition of the razor, the all caps and the red font I would not have read the description if you didn't ask.
Gawd, that underlined font makes my head want to explode.
Someone should give the seller a friendly tip to tone it down a lot.
I think I will do that right now, actually.
I would have automatically dismissed that razor out of hand, if it weren't for your post Sham, just because of teh intarwebs screaming he is doing.
It's certainly not the goofiest description I have seen.
It may be a little hard to read, but I would have looked at the pics and left it for someone else to restore.
When I see screaming descriptions that morph into long stream-of-consciousness terms of payment, hard luck stories, dire warnings, etc., I walk away. Period.
This is some hokey defense mechanism for eBay sellers with a chip on their shoulder, who feel they are taken advantage of by their customers. Generally, I find that if a seller starts reeling off hard luck stories inline with their sales pitch, there is a good underlying reason why they have so many "bad" buyers.
Life is short, with no shortage of razor sellers on eBay. :gaah:
I moved this thread to the Auction Talk...eBay, etc. forum as it is more appropriate for that forum and will hopefully get more traffic and feedback as a result.
thanks!
