Is this chip repairable?

Hi, I'm trying to pick up a cheap, workhorse razor on eBay, and I was wondering if some of you could give me your opinion of this listing:

Geneva Cutlery straight razor - Geneva, NY - eBay (item 350263630126 end time Oct-18-09 15:00:35 PDT)

Is this chip repairable, or would you have to take out a ridiculous amount of metal?

It looks repairable, but it may cost more time and effort to repair than it would to simply find one already in good shape

Buying from ebay is always a little bit risky, even so if you don't know what to look for. Browse the threads here about what things to check for and so on. Generally it has been suggested to purchase your first razor from reputable seller (check the Main Index - Straight Razor Place Classifieds), or at least get it honed right.

I've actually read through a lot of the wiki concerning this, and I know to avoid pitting, warping, and chips. I chose this razor cause it's cheap and the brand is listed as reputable. I'm just wondering about how plausible a repair of this blade would be. Of course, I'd send it out to have the work done, as I don't have any tools or experience. Would a restorer person laugh at this, or would it be a good amount of work to get this to shave-ready?

Also, this won't be my first razor, because I just ordered a shave-ready razor from the classified section. But I think that two razors to play with are better than just one razor to play with :)
