    Default Has anyone used this site before?

    SmallParts.com: The Hardware Store for Researchers and Developers
    looks like the brass rod is the cheapest one can find 72" +shipping less than 10 bucks.
    Also the 1/16" tubing seems pretty reasonably priced.
    they seem to have other nice stuff too.

    I buy my brass rod in 12" sections 3' at a time from my local hardware store for $1.40....

    Maybe they could get it for you? And I don't know, my brass rod might be mostly slag from old reactor fuel pellets...

    I feel like I'm getting ripped off now. 3' costs me $2.20.

    Haha, thanks. I like to feel that I make up for it by being able to get my CA and 1/8" walnut in the same place as the rod. That stuff is cheaper than online, plus no shipping costs or wait time.
