I personally hate the concept. Shaving is smooth, foot problems just aint.

I've only seen one actual corn trimming straight razor and one corn/callus trimming knife in person. It's hard to tell the size of the one in the link you've provided, but the corn razor I've seen is an ultra miniaturized version of a straight razor. The length of the blade was 1" with the width at less than 1/2".
As far as making that tang tip, I would assume a notch was made during forging and then the tip was simply twisted and shaped. Cool idea.
Nothing new under the sun, I guess.

No offense intended!! I guess I was thinking more about using a USED corn razor on one's feet. If that's the typical practice, then I stand corrected!
