Counterfeit Dovo's from China

Gents,

Take a look at this item 280472257256

Seems to me like a fake Dovo. In the listing it mentions "Similar to DOVO stainless steel razor in all aspects."

I think it is a gold dollar. It was only a matter of time before sellers started comparing them to the well known manufacturers.

Take a look at the photo, it seems as if the DOVO logo has been applied to these razors.

Just looked closer and you are correct. I am tempted to notify Dovo about this, if i can find the correct contact info on their site.

If there is anyone here who knows how to get in touch with Dovo, you are wecome to give them my information here. I'm an IP attorney, and I have quite a bit of experience in shutting down and seizing counterfeit goods like this from China.

Yup. I zoomed in a bit and it looks like it says "Dovo Solingen" and "Made in Germany"".

Yea, the first time I saw that, I figured it was a GD as well, given the model number and the 7/8 and the price tag. But wow, that razor does say Dovo on the tang. I wonder if they are knockoff razors or if he's just picturing a Dovo but selling a GD. Either way, it's quite dishonest.

At least Ebay should be notified I would imagine....
