Nevermind, there's spots on the spine, where honing should have polished them away. Most likely it is not shave ready.
While it is good to educate newbies of ebay, I don't think that deserves such a hiding. There are much worse ads, blades and price out there.
I take my ebay with a packet of salt and that does look a bit rough and in need of a resto.
Apparently, the sellers have noticed that shavereadiness helps the blade sell. Pretty much only thing we can do is to learn newbies to read the ads and pictures critically.
