I passed on this razor due to the uneven hone wear. What do you guys think?

It looks like it would be a pain to hone.

I guess it depends on what are you looking at doing with it.. if you are planning on shaving with it as long as you get it professionally honed the hone wear should not mean too much ( except in looks ). If you plan on trying to clean it up and learn to hone with it then it may cause you some issues depending on why there is uneven hone wear.

The hone wear wouldn't bother me. Given the grind of those (about quarter hollow), it's to be expected.
