Ok so I was bidding on this but I bailed when it hit the 100USB mark. Anyone get this thick Deep rock coticule?

Is there something special about Deep Rock coticules?

"This listing has been removed or this item is not available"

Edit: nevermind... Just had to punch in the item number: 350420613258.

I wonder if people that bid on those things look at the dimensions? That's just a wee little feller. It seems overpriced to me, unless that deep rock sticker is really really important to someone...
Based on the length dimension, I'd say the coticule part of it really isn't all that thick. It just appears that way because the stone is so short.

Holli4: Deep rock is reputed to be of a better quality than other coticules, though I'm not sure if that refers to smoothness of the finish, speed, or both.

Stuff like that is why I quit looking at ebay some months ago. Nice one.

I've heard from a few mentors that the Deep Rock coticules were the best of the Vintage coticules available back in the day. The coticule layer on that stone was also very thick for a Belgian stone.

Coticules are going to go up in price anyway and they're very popular right now, I don't think the price was that out of hand to be honest.
