I was wondering, is this worth so much money?

If you think it's worth then it surely is. At least 33 bidders at the moment think so.

I wouldn't jump in that sand box as i think straight razors are moderate priced everyday tools, imho.
Surely that looks nice, but not my piece of cake.

If i was selling one i would love it.
IMHO that is way more than it should cost

But the price it sells for is what its worth even if that makes it worth redicolous amounts...
