Scale collectors strike again.
looks like you missed the bid by stopping to early. But dont fret, I'll sell you any razor I have for half that amount. Mine dont have that orange finish so i hope thats not a deal breaker for you?
Do you guys have any clue as to the rarity of zaloom Malouf razors?
They are the holy grail of all razors:)
Don't sweat it Wullie; I'll send you the razor & scales. I only bought it for the box. :beer2:
Man, I need to list some of my blades while the market's hot! I may have to reverse my electrolysis experiment to match that special patina though...
wullie,
I must have missed something too. It's gotta be for the scales, not that crappy blade; ridiculous either way. Those scales better be bakelite coated platinum....
BTW, last week I saw a paper clip listed on the bay for $1 million. Go figure. Sorry for the :HJ
Where else you gonna get that? One of a kind! :rofl2:
Is there a forum for those scale collectors? I would love to see what it all about... I don't get it myself.. I like to use my tools...
It is an investment!
Far out! thats about the craziest price I've seen. Some people are just dumb aren't they?
Oy vey!..my kishkeh's just dropped!
Ebay the future of money laundering? Thats only thing i can think of why someone would pay that much for junk.
'course, maybe there is a group out there with mad buffing skills? Keep a look out for ninja buffers out there...
It looks like a 2 bidder free-for-all! The scales remind me of the movie "Carrie". At the end the arm comes up out of the grave! Skeered Me! Kindof like this auction!
The secret is the blade is made from super rare unobtanium. That's not rust just a mild tarnish. it will come right off revealing the special properties of the metal which compliment those scales.
When I saw the auction I thought why so cheap? What's wrong here?
OOOH! OOOH! I KNOW! It's made from the "magic bullet" of the Warren Commission!
It almost looks a bidding screw up, where the winning bidder put up an outrageous number to win it, and the send highest bidder added a 1 by accident, I think this because there was nothing between 300 and 1300
