The value of a razor is in the eye of the beholder.
I am not familiar with this particular brand, does it have a tang stamp of any kind?
If a Gargoyle used it...yes...:rofl2:
seems pricey to me..antique shops near me always up their prices and it makes me just walk away from em all til I find a razor I can clean up myself for a low price
It may have value to a collector of advertizing for ExxonMobil as Gargoyle was a company bought out by Mobil.
As a razor, I would shy away from it. Generally, items that were made specifically for advertizing weren't of the top quality.
There's one on Ebay and they're asking $199 for it. Track that, see how many times it's listed and what, if any, price it sells for and base your judgement on those results.
Never heard of the brand, but 90 seems a bit steep. Antique shops always run up the price though. Your money, your call.
And this is exactly why we don't do valuations on SRP,, they are beyond useless..
Being as this is actually against the forum rules but has already gone this far I am going to just close it, and not delete it
