Hey guys and gals, I am selling this Thiers-Issard seven day set on eBay for this friend of mine. It is an immaculate set as I can attest because I actually have it in my home. I went to your link this am and there was a "buy it now" price on it. I check with my wife and she said "go for it," but now the "buy it now" option is gone. Is it just now an "auction item?"

Yes there was but once someone places a bid that option is removed and someone did place a bid.

Small world. I was the bloke that sent you the note about the scales being rams horn and not blonde horn. They are a really beautiful set of razors. Good luck with the sale for your friend.

I like how the spine work on each razor is different, I find that rather cool.

I am afraid of seven day sets... My wife might see it and say i have enough..

For some strange reason I ended up on ebay and saw them when they had the buy-it-now price, and was very very tempted to just pick them. I am still not sure if I did the right thing, but I know it was the responsible thing - after all I can't have all the razors in the world :)

I was very tempted too. I can't really afford it though, and I have a TI with ram's horn, another with a worked spine and regular horn. I love TIs but I don't seem to shave with the 7 day sets I have. Anyway, it is a beautiful set and if I had the $ to spend at the time, I would have jumped on them and been happy to have them ..... even if I never did anything with them but admire them. May our SRP brother stingray enjoy them for many years to come.

Yeah...I knew I was going to own them but there have been so many sets go cheap that I thought I might get them for less...should have gone with my first Idea.

I won't use them. They are very heavy and I like light weight razors to shave with.
I think I will go out to the mall and set them up and everyone who looks at them I will just smile and shoot them the finger.:roflmao
