Interesting Marking
Hello everyone!
I wanted to post a photo of a razor I bought a couple of months ago, it has a very interesting marking which I've never seen before.
Being that I'm from Pittsburgh, I purchased this W.S. Brown razor as it is stamped Pittsburgh, PA. What I didn't really notice until I received the razor in the mail is that on the monkey tail, there is a much smaller stamping that says Germany accompanied by the famous Boker tree logo. I've seen markings on monkey tails in the past but nothing from Boker. Am I misunderstanding and maybe this means something else? Has anyone seen this before?
Sorry in advance for the picture resolution, the only camera I have available to work with is my iPhone

I've definitely seen that before but whether it means it's a Boker or not I don't know.

I've had 2 W.S. Brown razors like that, and I am pretty certain that they were made by Boker but marked with the reseller's (W.S. Brown's) information.

I would say that it very well could be a Boker...many makers would make razors for others. I'm sure if my pockets were deep enough I could contact Thiers Issard and have them to make me some "Shooter" razors in any of their current designs.

I got a razor that was stamped Washington Cutlery Co. and had the Boker tree hidden under what I believe was blood from the looks of it. I mainly bought it for the scales since it was only $5 till I seen the tree and figured I would spend alittle more time on the blade.
