That edge cannot decide if its smiling or frowning. It reminds me of when a cartoon character cries.
Surprisingly little hone wear for a ~250 year old razor.
The sad part is that there is 15 bids.............
It reminds me of a time from my childhood when my brother broke my father's favourite hammer handle.
He went and bought a new handle, scratched it up a bit, rubbed it in the dirt, rubbed it with creosote and old sump oil for an afternoon, and reattached it to the hammer head. I was never sure whether my father noticed anything but nothing was ever said.
James.
I saw that one too. I had to google Puntang, WV just to see what came up. Not surprising, it was just a bunch of porn sites. Surprisingly though, it has a few bids.
I do that every time I buy a hammer. A shiny hammer makes you look like a rookie. ;-)
15 bids on this excellent condition 1777 razor from Putang WV.... sigh....
I just hope that after the auction is over we dont see a new post on here"Look at my 1777 razor"
Shut up! I'm bidding on this and hoped to come here and get a bunch of props for scoring the coolest piece of history this site has ever seen!
You guys are jealous.
I have to wonder what thread pitch was being used in 1777....... :gaah:
