Now I live my CV Heljestrand, but this is crazy

I just was looking at my ended items on eBay and this razor started at $.01 USD. Beautiful, clean razor plus a modular paddle, but seriously???

Well someone is out a lot of coin for a razor that's not that rare....

maybe it was the modular paddle ? A rare one ........ :rofl2:

Actually the paddle looks like a loom from that pic.

Have sold 3 32s this year on the bay,they are rare,but not $1000 rare,not near that

I have a half a dozen heljes. They are one of my favorite razors. Sad that they've 'caught fire' like this. As good as they are, they are no better than dozens of brands that most people never heard of. Unless the fire goes out and the prices come back down to earth I won't be buying any more. Reminiscent of the Dutch tulip craze hundreds of years ago.

And another just hit the bay.... Starting at $450???

Seriously, what could have sparked this insanity?

I wanted one for awhile, and finally found one about 2 months ago for a Buy It Now price of $75. Though I wanted it bad enough to spend the money, I felt I slightly overpaid. But now this is insane!Attachment 123468

The old timers will scoff at this,But guys, there is a finite number of these blades left on this planet.
I have sold three 32s in orig Ivory (all mint) on the bay in the past several yrs,never got more than 350 and was happy to get that.
The prices of certain razors will never come down.
I have been in the hunt for a helji 134 for years,if one ever hits the bay it will make your head spin for what it will sell for,(I will not even bid)
Keep watching new listings,on rare occaisons one may pop up with a BIK,very rare occasions:)

Indeed. That is one of the few razors that still gets my blood flowing.
Once one do pop up on the grid, I will fight hard;)

If a 134 ever makes it to eBay ill ensure it takes the first flight to Home to Sweden
