I've been a casual lurker around these forums and others similar for a good while.
I've been wetshaving with an Edwin Jagger DE razor for about a year and half now
Read a fantastic blog post on the art of manliness on the benefits of more traditional methods of shaving. Did the sums, and realised how much I'd be saving when not paying the extortionate amounts for cartridge razors.
My first shave was wonderful. Only one tiny weeper and no razor burn. And smelling for the rest of the day the creamy, sweet, masculine fragrance of ToBS sandalwood.
From then on I've been hooked.
The last six months I've been resisting getting a straight razor. Telling myself I'll cut my face to bits.
But I took the plunge on Friday. Bought an Invisible Edge razor as I heard they are a good place to start.
Anyways. That's my story.
It's nice to meet you all.
