My neck grows similar to yours and I am a predominantly left handed shaver the only place I use my right is the upward stroke on the left side of my neck I found it the easiest way to get the blade to natural follow my necks growth pattern.

Yeah I also have to go up instead sideways since it is easier.
I just wanna give an update on the shave I just finished. My face feels 5 times better then the last time. I didn't use as much pressure and I think that was a problem. Thanks all for the replies
Good to hear it went better this time. I used my disposable to finish up my neck and do touch ups until I had the blade angle and pressure dialed in.
Greetings - I watched this video a few times to get some hints. This guy keeps it real simple and he wipes out a full beard quickly and efficiently. The title is, "The Manliest Shave Ever", and when I saw it, I actually thought he was going to shave with that huge knife hanging on his kitchen wall!!:dropjaw:
Enjoy (you have to click on the title in the box):

He used to be a member here. Just before my time though.

Don't know if you saw the post "old dog learns new trick", but it was from me. I have used a SR for over 15 years and was always happy with the results. I took your advice and changed the angle slightly to what you recommended and was surprised by the great inprovement. It is like nothing I have experienced over the past years. Thank you! Thank you!. I try to keep an open mind and learn constantly and your post is the proof.
