Well after 2 months of SR shaving and 2 perfect shaves in a row, I got a little overconfident and took a small bite out of my jaw line. Actually, I just hit a bump that I've had and shaved around for about 45 years, but for some reason, in trying a new pass from my ear down my jaw line, I forgot it was there. Proves that concentration trumps all, I guess.
I got a great shave, but feel like I should be "pink lather 2" :dropjaw:
It's always that 1 second you stop thinking about exactly what it is your doing when you get bit.

I always say that confidence is essential to a good shave but overconfidence will be your downfall. As you said, it's the difference between white lather and pink lather ;)
That first sentence is a great summing up. You have to have confidence that moving the blade across your face isn't going to slice and dice, otherwise it's stop and skip. Enough pressure and speed to do the job correctly but not overly fast or heavy handed. Kind of like juggling. You have to get moving right away or it's all over. But at the right speed and rate.Quote:
