Hello again.
I am possibly going to make a purchase from The Superior Shave and I would like to ask you guys if the shop is safe to make purchases from?
I by no means want to insult anyone with this post, I just want to ask for your opinion on can you vouch for the shop?
Even tho internet buying is safer now than it was just ten years ago, one can never be too safe.
They're my first stop for most shaving purchases. Both their customer service and shipping are the best that I've ever come across.
Jarod is an honest guy and his website is very informative. I bought a nice boker razor from him a few years ago.
I've bought various times from them. All good experiences.
+1 on all the above. Jarrod is one of the good guys.. a little opinionated about some things but aren't we all. ;) Be warned though, visiting his site can be hazardous to your wallet.

Yes, absolutely. I just bought the palisander handled Dovo that I posted a pic of earlier on your post from Jarrod. Shipping took 2 days from Florida to California. Jarrod is quite abrupt and to the point in his conversational mode; just the way he is. Being able to choose the precise razor you want is quite unique.
That is a great website. They have a wide variety of Coticules, and you see the exact one your getting, with straight razors too! Very fast shipping. Jarrod is nice to talk to. They have a wide variety of other items too.
I've bought a few things off Jarrod before and found him first rate to deal with.
I have bought a couple of coticules, a strop and straight razor siliconed covers from Jarrod and had a great experience. Jarrod sent an extra slurry stone with one coticule. His communication is great, quick to reply to emails with thorough answers. Very helpful. A good person to do business with. Very safe.
Bought my DOVO razor from Jarrod. Very good experience - good communication and service. Also, he honed the razor nicely, I personally really like the edge he gave me.

The payment worried me at first ( never heard of google wallet before) but placed my order got back to me quick and postage was quick and well packed

I was in contact with Jarrod via skype and I will do my purchase from him soon. I had to ask few stupid questions from him regarding purchasing products, paypal, etc due to the fact I am rather new to internet purchases, especially outside EU purchases. He seemed to be very nice and straight spoken fellow, and very informative. We even changed some opinions on Swedish and Finnish fish products such as pickled herring, smoked fish and the baltic herring haha. No clue how we managed to get it that offtopic. :)

Finally made the purchase. I had some problems with Paypal and Google Wallet and of course me being new to internet purchases did not make it any easier. Well it's first for everything.
Hopefully Jarod didn't completelly lose his mind with me, as I did ask a lot of stupid questions tbf. :P
Anyways, I am very eager to see my first, beautifull blade :)
Just wanted to tell that my first straight razor arrived from thesuperiorshave and the shipment took little less than two weeks. Jarrod was nice bloke to make business with and we had good talks, which derailed offtopic quite a bit at times. He gave me alot of insightful information, without pushing his own products at every given chance.

Where do you live that it would take two weeks to get to you? I live in North Carolina and get my packages from Superior Shave in 2 to 3 days.

I always receive very prompt shipping from thesuperiorshave. I live in East TN. I believe they are in FL but I could be wrong. Purchasing from Jarod is always a smooth experience. I particularly like the larger-than-most selection of razors offered and blades that claim to be shave ready are shave ready.

Bought lots, never a problem..
I bought two razors from him. First one came with a spot of rust. I called him and he never argued at all. He just said what do you want to do. I said I would like to buy another razor and if you will discount it to make up for this one I will buy it. He knocked off 60%. Cant be any better than that. I would buy there again
