Hi to all S.R.P ers
Thought I would give a 2nd shave report. Hope I've put it in the right place. Well, all is still going well. Laid everything out all ready and prepared for another 30mins or more of pure concentration. Took my blade to the strop for 50 laps and then got stuck in. Pleased to report that I am still looking good (as usual). No bits missing! Well I say that, one slight nick to left ear when I got a bit too confident and one to the chin. Nothing major, I survived again. Woopee do I feel good. Right from shave one I'm using left hand for left side and right hand for right side and all other bits a mix of the two, whatever feels right at the time. I would just like to say though that I noticed after the first pass that the left side of my face seemed smoother than the right. I had a little thought about it later and put it down to this. Because I'm right handed I figured that in using my left hand I am probably going a little more gentle until I get good muscle memory for using left hand and hence unbeknown to me at the time I am allowing the tool to do the work on this side more so and in turn getting a better first pass. What do you think? This is fun, I can feel another blade coming on soon, I can only look at them for so long. Gonna have to spend some more money! Going to get over to the stropping page, need to see what the rest of you guys are doing in that department. Thanks for all the advice so far.
