And another method. My bathroom door is never closed all the way (I live alone) because a very vocal half Siamese cat hates closed doors. As a result I have almost nil humidity from a hot shower. When done shaving and rinsing blade without getting water in the pivot area I have a medium size jar from olives filled with a mixture of high proof rubbing alcohol and mineral oil that I carefully dip the blade in up to just past the heel. With finger rub some oil on the blade up into the pivot area, lightly wipe excess off with a cotton pad and put back in rack on wall. I got the idea from another SRP member and I can't remember who and I want to thank him, love the method.
I keep both my Dovos resting on a micro fiber towel in the drawer of my shaving stand coated with mineral oil. There are a couple of dessicent packets inside the drawer as well. No rust problems.
