I tend to get most of my creams, soaps, aftershaves, blades and pretty much everything else from West Coast Shaving. There service is great and speedy deliveries.
Where do you guys get your supplies from? I always like to check out new places. Just curious. Thanks in advance.
I've used West Coast, Maggard, Royal Shaves, Amazon, of course SRD, Vintage Blades, LLC, Ogalalla, and others too numerous to list. Generally I'm looking for one item that others don't have.
SRD, Amazon and eBay have been the best resources for me. I would love to be able to buy more locally but there is not much more than VDH and a random Colonel Conk's item here and there.

I just found SRD. I'm thinking of getting a Dovo razor from them. I have two antique razors I shave with. I want a new one just to say I have one, I guess. I really enjoy my Joseph Rogers and sons and my old boker.
SRD tops the list...I always start there.
On-line it's mainly SRD & BullGoose, but I buy from others too.

I have loved the product and service from The Classic Edge. Love the edge Phil puts on a blade....hopefully I will get there with my honing.

I go to store is SRD or Italian Barber. If I can't find what I am looking for at either of those I go to Amazon or google to find places. I have used classic shaving a few times
Where ever I can....can find what my AD's are making me buy.....

I have found it easier to search for what I am after and then research the seller than try and go the other way. :o

Mostly from SRD, but I've also ordered from West Coast Shaving and Classic Shaving. Those three have been great. Recently I've been ordering from Above the Tie. Their big thing is DE's, new and restored, but they also have lots of supplies and restored straights (Wade and Butcher, DD, etc.). Products and service are absolutely first rate. I highly recommend Above the Tie. It's a smaller operation than SRD, but the service and quality is just as high.

Connaught shaving, traditional shaving, vintage scent, Maggard razors, SRD, the superior shave, amazon. Aftershaves I buy locally, since most places can't ship them to me.
Bought my razor and strop at SRD. Get my shave cream at Bath and Body.
Mostly my local Shaving and kitchen knives shop

Ebay and Amazon for creams and soaps, but my biggest discovery today is an on-line store for hardware; The Knife and Gun Finishing Supplies.
Though I have bought from other vendors, I get most of my shaving supplies from Royal Shave, West Coast Shaving, and Bullgoose Shaving.
SRD, GemStar, The Superior Shave, Whipped Dog.
For soft goods, brushes and DE blades;
Bullgoose Shaving, Shoebox Shaving, and West Coast Shaving.
Rite Aid for The Real Shaving Co. Shave cream. A silly name, but a top-drawer English cream!
bought my first stuff on Amazon but I'm now moving more to the mom and pop type internet. They are supporting us by putting up great forums like this one and helping to support them so they deserve our business. And... Amazon doesn't have as much selection as most of the dedicated safety/straight razor shaving places. Check out some of the places that are advertising on the forum here and give them a try. I've scouted the local CVS for some supplies in case I run out of something and need something to get me through and need to check on Walgreens. I refuse to shop at walmart for reasons to numerous to mention, but in a bind they would probably have some things to get you through until you can get something in the mail.

Its funny, I shopped at West Coast once, they blew my order. I ordered 100 Feather blades and got 10 instead. The guy was genuinely concerned about the mistake, and went on a huge diatribe about how this should never have happened being thier state of the art shipping system... It got to the point that I almost felt like he was saying, "our shipping system is infallible, are you sure you only got ten?"
Whatever... I ordered again, and they blew the order again lol! I wasn't going to complain again, but I'll not order again either. Lol!
Funny how the perfect comidy of errors can make a reputable place seem like some kind of circus show to me :).
Bullgoose, TSS, SRD, have all been exceptional.
I'm fortunate that my city is fairly well stocked of shaving supplies. We now have a great selection of brick and mortar stores so I can shop locally and sample scents before buying.
What a difference a few years makes as it wasn't that long ago that there wasn't much to be found here...

Received a gift certificate to SRD. I stocked up on a lot of their creams, soaps, and other accessories. Great selections.
Yeah that's bad for business, totally agree with you I wouldn't order from them again either after that. On that note, I've never had a problem with them. Always got what I ordered and quickly.Quote:
