A De Pews...a blade that has been on my "must try" list...would be great to see a pic...friend of mine swears they are indeed, "the perfect razor".

If it's the one that finished this week on ebay.de, I'm glad that it's going to a good home... I was very tempted

@Phrank: The De Pew is a Razor im totally curious about because i cant imagine how it would work in my hands, ive heard that theyre usually around 9/16" and half hollow.
Here a first Pic from the Auction i got it from (hope that i dont avoid Copyrights even with this shortened/cut), as you can see, theres some work in it but i think that its only light rust that can easily be removed without much marks remaining, i think it was a good deal as theres not too much hone wear on it.

@Michael: Yes it was the one on german Ebay, well i think that there arent so many others, i curious if its really a quality razor and will post it in Show & Tell when it arrives and after i shaved with it :-)

Andrew, if you look up SSAD in Acronyms and Abbreviations - Straight Razor Place Library, you will find that it stands for Shaving Soap Acquisition Disorder! They need to add SAD for Strop Acquisition Disorder. I will make that request now.

Thanks - I stand corrected and suffer from both, shaving soap acquisition makes sense....inasmuch as any of these AD's make any sense...
