    Not a Beauty but my thinnest and most felxibel Razor came yesterday, a nameless british Razor from around 1900 i guess.

    If it is nameless how csn you date it? It could just as easy be 1942 as it could 1900. Still a great find.

    do you mean on the shank stamps? To bring out makers markings?

    anyone have suggestions on getting scratches out on blade engravings without damage?

    Well, its allways like a look into a dark room trying to date a Razor without stamps or other marks that might give an impression of the production date.
    The old styled scales with lead space and the brass pins, together with the rounded tang and the "flowing" passage from the tang to the blade make me
    guess that its either older than younger as i have seen these design mostly on razors around 1900. But thats only what i guess, in the end i dont know it.
